The ZOOBILEE fundraising goal this year is for the acquisition of White Handed Gibbons. These endangered, long-armed, tree-dwelling apes are small, slender, primates from Southeast Asia. They spend most of their lives in trees, swinging gracefully from vines to branches. Their unique call will bring the sounds of the Asian jungle to our little corner of Gainesville, as a tribute to Frank Buck and the jungle he loved. Bringing these amazing primates to The Frank Buck Zoo will raise awareness about challenges these animals face in the wild.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity and support of the Frank Buck Zoological Society. Our mission is to provide support to the Frank Buck Zoo in the form of facility improvements, animal acquisitions, and promotions. (Federal Tax ID: 23-7069912)
